Meet Our Distinguished Research Mentors

With Universal Healthcare being at the centre of the modern world, organisations such as the United Nations and the World Health Organisations have been on a high demand for public healthcare professionals who are committed and dedicated towards this purpose. As the Dean of the Public Health faculty, I am more than delighted to be a part of this process which has been responsible for grooming and developing a highly cultured blend of public health personnel who are ready to serve humanity in the best way possible. Even today, there exist many remote locations where people are struck by hunger, poverty, preventable disease and violence. To solve these issues, we encourage our students to work closely with faculties, researchers, professionals and global communities towards providing alleviative measures to better the lives of the people. Coming to the academic curriculum, the courses are specially designed to address the increasing demand of quality care through appropriately skilled and trained health care professionals having managerial skills in planning and addressing issues both at the health facilities and in the public health domain.
